When life gets tough and we’re in survival mode, it’s natural for us to become competitive and even a little aggressive towards each other. In these situations, elbowing each other becomes quite normal. We’re fighting for our own survival, after all. It’s a primal instinct that kicks in when resources are scarce and the stakes are high.
But why do we resort to elbowing? Well, it’s a physical way of asserting our presence and protecting what’s rightfully ours. When we’re faced with limited resources, whether it’s food, water, or even opportunities, we feel the need to secure our share. Elbowing becomes a way to establish our position and make sure we’re not left behind.
